Performance Reports

Headsprout's secure, web-based performance reports summarize the online instruction into practical information for teachers and administrators. Automated performance reports provide objective, empirical information about each student's individual strengths and weaknesses and progression within the Headsprout reading program. Teachers can view each student's progress as well as review the performance of the entire class. Administrators can look at performance data at a variety of levels, from individual students, to entire classrooms, schools, or the district.

| Class-wide Percent Correct |
Displays the episode percent correct for each student in a group or class, including an overall mean per student and the class mean percent correct across episodes.

| Class-wide Scope and Sequence Placement |
Displays a chart of a class's current placement in the Headsprout Early Reading Scope and Sequence, including skills mastered, in progress, and to be taught.

| Daily Report |
Displays the daily activity for each student in a group or class, along with the stories the student is prepared for. Previous days may be viewed.

| Class-wide Benchmark Reading Assessments |
Displays the oral reading performance on Headsprout Readers for each learner within a group or class.

| Usage Report |
Displays frequency of use of Headsprout for all students enrolled, including average days between episodes & average number of episodes completed per week.

| Placement of Learners in Program |
Displays a bar graph of current placement of learners in the program, based on last episode completed.

| Completed Episode Performance |
Displays a chronological listing of episodes completed, duration, percent correct, interactions, sounds, words, skills and strategies for an individual student.

Displays a table of an individual student's current placement in the Headsprout Early Reading Scope and Sequence, including skills mastered, in progress, and to be taught.

| Session Activity |
Displays a chronological listing of all the sessions and activity the learner has had in Headsprout, including all episodes completed, restarted, repeated, or not completed.

| Benchmark Reading Assessment |
| Provides an online form to record oral reading scores for each learner (based on reading performance on Headsprout Readers). |
